NSW Mid North Coast (April 22) - Part 1

Day 1: (Berwick to Yass - 658kms)

1st Stop - Home of Ned Kelly - Glenrowan - 2.5hrs in

• Morning coffee break and stretch at the Glenrowan Bakehouse and Cafe

• Visited the local gourmet food store and bought a number food items such as sauces, dips, and more importantly beer (Black Dog brewery)

  • Ginger Beer

  • IPA

  • Stout

2nd Stop - Lunch - HolBrook NSW - 4hrs in

• Visited the Submarine cafe

Final Stop - Yass - 6.5hrs in!

• Arrived in Yass at around 4pm and checked in at a Motel and went for a stroll around the main street - lots of history.

• Both extremely tired and decided to grab some food from the local Woolworths!

Day 2: (Yass to Halliday's Point (Black Head Beach NSW - 572kms)

Morning at Yass

• Morning run to see of the some of the sites which include:

  • Walker Park

  • Yass Railway Museum

  • Riverbank Park

  • Banjo Patterson Park

  • Breakfast at Roses Cafe

Lunch at Heatherbres Pies - Exeter NSW (141ks in)

• Grabbed a quick bite to eat to sample of the regions finest pies!

Final Destination - Halliday's Point - Black Head Beach

• After some confusion regarding the Sydney Motorways (too many M's) - we finally arrived at our apartment at Black Head Beach.

Day 3: (Anzac Day Ceremony at Black Head Beach)

• Attended the ANZAC day ceremony followed by breakfast at the Black Head Surf Life Saving club.

• Visited Tallwoods Village golf estate.

Lunch Visit to Old Bar

Dinner at Halliday's Point

Day 4: Visit to Bluey's Beach or is it the home of 'Bluey the cow?'
